Trying out posterous.

I am trying out posterous for the first time.   The set of social media services to which I connect might require some experimentation.  

For example, if I connect to my FriendFeed account, will FF thereafter post it to Twitter?  If so, there's no sense in also connecting to Twitter directly... is there?

And, it's not altogether clear how the interaction with Facebook works.  In the 'autopost' mode, I can understand putting a notification in my FB newsfeed of a new post.  But there are indications that there's 'in-bound' information coming from Facebook.  What's that mean?
